SUPPORTING SCHOOLS WITH FUNDING
Helping You Access the Right Funding for Wellbeing Support
At Happy Tails Petting Club, we understand that schools often need to align services with existing funding streams. Our animal-assisted wellbeing programmes are designed to support key areas such as emotional regulation, engagement, communication, and school readiness, making them suitable for a range of school funding options.
We work closely with schools to ensure our programmes can be positioned clearly and effectively within existing budgets, helping you deliver meaningful support without unnecessary barriers.
Common Funding Ideas:
1) SEN / SEND Funding
Our programmes support pupils with additional needs by focusing on emotional regulation, communication, and engagement. Sessions can complement EHCP outcomes and individual support plans, particularly for students with autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
2) Pupil Premium
Our services can support disadvantaged pupils by improving confidence, engagement with learning, and overall wellbeing, helping to remove barriers to participation and achievement.
3) Alternative Provision (AP / EOTAS)
We support students who are not currently accessing full-time education, including those experiencing EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance) or transitioning between provisions. Our structured programmes help rebuild confidence and readiness to re-engage with learning.
4) Mental Health & Wellbeing Funding
Our sessions support emotional wellbeing, anxiety reduction, and behaviour regulation, making them suitable for pastoral and mental health budgets within schools.
Schools are welcome to use the following wording internally when allocating funding:
Our services support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs by improving emotional regulation, communication, and engagement. The structured programme provides targeted intervention for students experiencing anxiety, behavioural challenges, or difficulties accessing learning, including those with EBSA or on reduced timetables. The sessions support the development of confidence, social skills, and readiness to engage in education, contributing to improved wellbeing and participation.
